6:26 PM - ODACAMP
HELLO HELLO HELLO
I'm gonna blog about the ODAC Orient. Camp which was from Fri to Sat! I swear it was damn shag when i was carrying a schoolbag + 1 litre water bottle + sleeping bag + file while i was on my way to school on Friday. Thankfully Pearlyn helped me to carry my sleeping bag during lesson time. Hahaha, thanks alot again! :D Day 1. Reported at 5pm after lessons. I was in the same group as Kw, haha. Did the usual ice breaking games. The first game was wacko WHICH WAS THE MOST DREADED/BORING/BLAH GAME OF ALL. I dont really like wacko. -Skips the boring ones- Then it was Dog and Bone modified version, when you had to hop to get the bone and not run, and spin around in circles when you get 'caught' by the other team! It was quite funny! Nexttt, we played Pepsi Cola. That childhood game whereby you have to step on peoples' shoes in order to win. Remember??? While the others were attacking people, i was retreating and stepping back. Cause i have a slow reaction time and i suck at this game -.- THEN IT WAS DINNER TIME! We had lemon chicken rice for dinner, which was super niceeeeeeeeeee!! Never had such nice camp foods for a long time already!!! After dinner, there were more gamessssss. -Skips the boring ones- Okay there was this game whereby we had to pass onion rings to each other using one quarter of a pocky stick in our mouth. I think it's totally testing your ability to not laugh while passing. Cause when you're passing the onion ring everyone's face looked so funny!!! HAHA. Then we had this game, which we had to fill up cups with watermelon flesh. You can either choose to 1) eat the watermelon and transport via mouth 2) use your pinky fingers to dig out the flesh of watermelon and transport it using that two tiny fingers. 3) use the third and last finger (one hand only). So our team tried all three methods to complete the task. Guess what, after completing the three cups our next task was to eat it. ZZZZ Okay we ate it in the end. But we threw the last cup away into the grass when the Group I/C wasnt looking at us :S After all those games, we had a random FAKE (-.-) tekan session by the J2s and the teachers in charge of ODAC. The teachers were great actors, can get Best Actor Award already. Which one of them is my GP teacher! That fake tekan session totally reminded me of the the real tekan sessions we had in RC back then. *Reminisces* NAH JOKING, okay maybe a little :X Guess what happened next? The J2s threw pails of water down from the second floor!!! The fake tekan session was to create suspense according to them -.- Luckily i was in the shelter and not open air if not gg already! -skips some part of the water games again- abit lazy type :P NEXT UP WE HAD NIGHT TRAIL!!!! Basically it was just walking in pairs around the ulu school with some J2s hiding at corners to scare you, and you have to collect codes from them. Excitement rate 3.5/5. Got pumped 10 cause we gave the wrong code at the end of the trail :X Day 2. Reported at 7.30am. Ran only two rounds around the track for PT. :D For breakfast we had doujiangyoutiao!!! Awesome ttm can!! Finally no more bread and kaya for breakfast in camps :D After breakfast we played Captain's Ball. This time, it was not just throwing around with a ball. We played with soccer balls, apples and oranges (LOL!!!) Last event for the camp was a 100 metre race on the track which consisted of 20m of rolling on the track, 20m of crawling, 20m of launches (is that how you spell it?), 20m of buttkicks, 5m of standing broad jumps and finally the last 15m, sprinting. Adding on to the level of difficulty we had to carry a pocky stick in our hands/mouth, and that stick must not be broken. During the rolling part i nearly roll onto the field -.- Soon it was Debrief and my group won the Most Teamwork Award. Actually all groups won too, just that use different name only. OUR PRIZE WAS ............................................. A HONEYDEW LOL. Other groups won bananas/papaya/watermelon. ZZZ This concludes the end of the super lengthy post, probably the longest one that i typed ever in history in HPC Blog. Heh. Gotta go do homework already. BTW PEARLYN KEWEI AND I HAVE A BINTAN OVERSEAS CAMP FROM 9MARCH TO 12MARCH. TAKE NOTE! Labels: Shi Hui |
