12:01 AM - When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
![]() (HPC WAVE ~) It's my turn again! Oh wow... Time passes by really fast (and it's the 3rd time I'm posting here already!!! Feels like this just started.) 1st DAY OF JULY! Alright... Anyway, have you all received the magazine from Temasek Poly through the mailbox?!?! I LOVE THE STICKERS IN THERE! (totally spammed my handbook with them hehehe) REALLY AWESOME. Hope I'll get motivated when I see them though ^^ ![]() Yes, Prelim's coming soon in exactly 8 more weeks! (from Wednesday!!!) ![]() Do you know what's worth fighting for? If it's not worth dying for? Does it take your breath away And you feel yourself suffocating? ![]() It had been 3 hectic days ever since school started, with extra curriculum like almost everyday and the piles of homework even after we get home. Well, I suppose this is what every young Singaporean goes through in their lives... SO LET'S PERSEVERE! Personally I'm quite stressed up with whether I'll be able to complete the worksheets and assessments, or if I'm even ready to take the major examinations. I think I've been in denial to how fast time actually passes although I talk about that all the time. OH WELL... I'll have to figure out a good method to revise and also come up with a study schedule to keep myself on track. Below are 2 links which will probably help How To Study How To Improve Your Study Skills Anyway, research has it that people study better with rests taken at 20 min intervals. So probably you can time yourself for 20 min before going for a 5 min toilet break or visit the refridgerator (OF COURSE, AVOID THE TV AND COMPUTER!!!). The reason why this works is because our brain tend to remember what we've read at the beginning and at the end more vividly. So suffering long hours on books won't help; since at the end of everything you're most likely to refer back to your notes because you've forgotten what you've read/wrote about in the middle of the study time! You can try reading important notes just before going to bed as well. Alright, Mendi Almight Ang is ending with a picturesque photo and a study quote. ![]() "It always seems impossible until it's done." - Nelson Mandela Labels: Mendi |
