Econs test tomorrow! Gotta study!
-edited-

Hahaha sorry for blogging this late! The past week has been rather eventful and busy:

Monday - Taekwondo training. I finally remembered my 1st pattern needed for the grading! Hahaha. I think TKD is kind of fun. Probably it'll evolve into my 2nd passion! (I think I look cute in my TKD attire hehehe)

Tuesday - Went back to AMKSS for Weekly Training. Got to know some of the Sec Ones. There were 9 of them! 1 was absent because she's still in the process of transferring in. I'm so happy, I think all of you are too!

Wednesday - It's Taekwondo Orientation! I got to make a lot of new friends, and bonded with some seniors and team mates. We had a waterbomb session in the field, followed by a 'picnic' in the end. There was this super rough game. It's called the circle game. I almost died! We had to sit down in a circle with our hands and legs tangled-up real tightly as a group. Then, the opponent team will try to pull you out of the circle.

I finally figured out the wrath of girls. My whole hair got caught up and I was trying desperately to cling on to my group mates for hellsake. Hahaha. It was indeed physically and mentally bonding! After the entire orientation, some of us headed to Elias Mall (didn't know it existed), somewhere near school for dinner. Chatted, drank and ate. It reminded me of us! Like, how we used to gather at the bubbletea shop after RCY trainings!

Me and my friends needed the toilet so bad, so much that we settled at ESSO (petrol station) to pee! We had to use the Gents' toilet because the Ladies' was locked. Hahahaha and this uncle came in and saw us. He was like mad shocked and he immediately went out to check the signboard! Funny and awkward max! Reached home at 10 pm. (Fell asleep soon after, super tired).

Oh, and a week or 2 before this, my Principal gave an announcement during Morning Assembly. She says that she finds it silly when students travel all the way from school to IKEA during curriculum time's breaks (only 10 minutes actually) just to get an IKEA HOTDOG, so she says if we're really craving/dying for IKEA HOTDOGS, she can bring them in for sale to satisfy us. Immediately the following week, which is this Wednesday, the 8th Student Council initiated the sale of IKEA HOTDOGS. I find it cool and hilarious at the same time!

Thursday - Taekwondo training. Learnt the second pattern! This pattern is needed for the competition. The trial's on the coming Monday. Am not very hopeful to get selected, but still, I'll try my best! Yknow every training, we had to split our legs during warm-ups. It was awfully painful. (I think I may be able to really split after 2 years). Returned home and had to study for Econs consolidation exercise (hahaha but I think I still didn't do well)

Friday - Stayed back in school to practice my Taekwondo patterns in an empty section of the school (with a big mirror) with my team mates. I think it's the Wushu area. While practising, we were in fact waiting for the A Level results to be released! I find it amusing when all the JC2s had to go to the lecture theatre for a 'Live Telecast' of what's happening in the Hall. I mean, it's like so high-tech right! So, some of the JC1s went to view the release of results.

I've never seen anything like it before. When the names of the students were called, the entire hall cheered and clapped as though MJC's Soccer Team just scored a goal in a tournament. The girls who came in dresses, ran up to the stage and the boys looked like they were doing a homerun or sorts. Some boys turned up in their army uniform and botak heads! Cool. I feel really proud of their achievements. And I wonder if I'll get to go up 2 years later. Nonetheless, some were weeping with tears of sorrow, and some were crying out of joy all the same. There were quite a handful of people with 3 or 4 distinctions (A) for their H2 subjects, and there were many perfect scorers! (meaning they actually scored all As in EVERYTHING). Straights As. Hmmm I hope I'll be like them. But well, I will be satisfied with 3 distinctions for my H2 subjects. :)

After that, I went back to AMKSS for FAC training. I was just wondering if you all will be interested in coming down on the Finals on 19 March? It's at Citysquare Mall. (Yes, in public!). We can have dinner together after the Competition! Sounds awesome?!

Saturday - College Road Race at Pasir Ris Park, early in the morning! I wore my super big, fat and bulky sports shoes for the run. I participated in the 3.3 km Girls' Competitive Race. Came in 43rd out of 300. Not that good, because I walked a bit during the race. Stomach cramps out of the blue! But still, people say that 43 is not bad for a JC1. I shall try harder next year! My house (Miranda) came in first for the Girls' Competitive Race though! We got 3rd in the overall event. I think the mascot of Atlas is super on. He's a guy, and they put on makeup for him, made him wear a dress with fake boobs stuffed inside, plus he had to wear a blonde wig. Super spontaneous please. We couldn't stop laughing when he went up to stage and use his fake hair to swing in circles.

Went to Popeyes at Downtown East with my classmates for lunch after that. It's the 2nd time I'm eating Popeyes, after the first with you all at Jubilee's branch. Came home and slept like there's no tomorrow. Feel so drained of my energy.

Sunday (now) - So much to do, so little time. I've quite a lot of catching up to do.

Next Saturday, I'm participating in AMKsian Family Day's Alumni Dragonboat Race at Bedok Reservoir Park! My life has been indeed eventful of late. Sometimes, I really feel like I've been doing a lot for a week, so much that it felt like months have passed. Yet, time also seems to pass by very quickly. It's like, weeks passing by in the blink of an eye. And what?! It's the March Holidays after next week??? Oh wow.

Then MYE's like in June - July, with the Promotional Exams creeping in late September. I feel that JC stuffs are indeed heavy in content. Especially for Bio. 1 chapter consists of 2 thick notes and so much to remember.

Tell me your response on FAC Finals! Try to come! Miss and love you all!

Xoxo,
Mendi Almighty Ang
